Go on a unique river cruise on Lakeuden kutsu (“Call of the Plains”, 30 seats) or
Lakeuden joutsen (“Swan of the Plains”, 12 seats) in Seinäjoki.

Get to know the cultural landscape of the plains and the duckboards of Paukaneva, a swamp area by the river. You can combine the cruise and the hiking route, because the boats take you right next to the duckboards. It is also possible to go on a guided tour and have a packed lunch by the campfire.

Very near (500 metres) to the duckboards there is a South Ostrobothnian peasant house, Itämäki, where you can enjoy a tasty meal in the 19th century surroundings. In the house you can also arrange different events: meetings, parties, meals… If you come by a river boat to Itämäki, it is possible to have a tractor transportation between the river and the house.
