The hiking route of Paukaneva

	By hiking along the duckboards of Paukaneva you get to know the cultural landscape of the plains and the unique flora and fauna of the swamparea.
You can combine the cruise and the hiking along the duckboards: the riverboats take you right next to the hiking route.
	It is possible to go on a guided tour and have a packed lunch by a campfire.
The route starts from the turning point of the riverboats and it is nearly 5 kilometres long.

Peasant house Itämäki

In the peasant house Itämäki you can enjoy a delicious meal in the 19th century surroundings. It is located close to the river and Paukaneva duckboards. The house is a traditional South-Bothnian peasant house.
	In Itämäki you can arrange different kind of events (meetings, parties, meals) all year around. It is possible to have a tractor transportation between the river and Itämäki.
